In today’s lesson we’re talking about Washing Up!

Washing up in the morning is an important part of the morning routine. In this lesson we’ll talk about some of the activities your child will do each day, including washing their hands and face, and brushing their teeth.
“洗漱”是早晨的例行事项中的重要部分。今天我们会聊一聊怎样用英语教小朋友洗手洗脸，刷牙等。

Your child is now up and out of bed, her bed is made and her room has been tidied. Now it’s time to wash up!
现在小朋友已经起床，并且铺好了床，房间也整理好了。现在该洗漱啦！
- wash up: 洗漱
Generally a morning bathroom routine will include using the toilet, washing your hands and face, and brushing your teeth.
通常来讲，洗漱包含“上洗手间”，“洗手洗脸”，“刷牙”。

Older children may have a shower in the morning as well. These activities are generally grouped together under the general term of washing or washing up.

You can include other words in your sentence, like wash your sth. Some of the words you can use here are:

You can say "Let’s go wash!"

After your child has used the toilet, he will need to wash his hands. Often children need to be reminded of this.

You can also make a game out of this, such as seeing how many bubbles she can make when she rubs her hands together.

After your child has washed her hands, the next activity is usually to wash her face with a wet cloth.

Children can often have a favorite cloth for washing their face, which may be decorated with a cute animal or cartoon character, to make washing more fun.
孩子们经常都会有一块最喜欢的洗脸巾，这款洗脸巾上也许有可爱的动物或者卡通人物。他们觉得用这块洗脸巾会更加有趣。

You can say "Xiyangyang loves to kiss your little cheeks!" or "Batman can help clean your face!"

Another washing up activity your child can do is brushing his teeth. You will need to help at first but as they get older, this is an activity they can easily do themselves.
洗完脸之后就到了刷牙时间了！小朋友一开始可能需要帮助，但等他们大一点，刷牙就可以自己轻松独立完成啦！
